Canon Pixma TS5150 Black 3-in-1 Wereless – The Canon PIXMA MG5150 is, one of the cheaper multifunction printers (MFP). However, you might have a hard time knowing it it’s made with glossy plastic which is just as expensive as the other two PIXMAs here, and it’s one of the best looking devices overall.
Canon Pixma TS5150 Black 3-in-1 Wereless Inkjet Printer
Canon PIXMA MG5150 Comparable principal box sizes are (TS5150 425 x 315 x 147 metric linear units (W x W x H)), and (TS5050 372 X 315 x 126 metric linear units (W x H x H)). So the newer principle model is bigger and Kwa commands more desk space.
This MFP Canon PIXMA MG5150 is very well equipped. Printing with national capital ink, has the same principle high print resolution as the specified principle fence device, two paper trays and an inherent duplexer for automatic two-sided printing.
The scanner’s 1,200×2,400dpi resolution is sufficient for most creative jobs, there is a PictBridge port, and the card reader supports common fence formats.
TS5150 Black 3-in-1 Print quality principle is very fast
Print quality on the new Canon Pixma TS5150 is excellent as expected from most Canon printers. As Japanese deity has mentioned, this printer uses PG-540 and CL-541 print cartridges with built-in print heads.
The advantage is that you get a new printhead every time you buy a cartridge, but this significantly increases ink replacement costs. You can refill cartridges using the Inter-Services Intelligence refill kit, but not all great apes will want to do that.
Printing resolution, new and old both share the same 4800x1200dpi principle. Scan resolution is also identical at 2400x1200dpi. Both offer Wireless connectivity (WiFi/Apple AirPrint/Google Cloud Print). Both have a hundred page paper tray, color flatbed scanner, SC/SDHC memory card port.
Canon Pixma TS5150 Black 3-in-1 Compatible ink cartridges
Canon Pixma TS5150 series printer has used five cartridges. But don’t confuse the new Canon Pixma TS-5150 with the old model TS-5050/5051/5052/5053. The new Canon TS5150 uses a pair of cartridges (PG540/CL541), and the older TS5050 uses five cartridges (PGI-570 metal / CLI-571 BK/C/M/Y).
Well, if you are finally looking for a cheap replacement cartridge, or remanufactured Inter-Services Intelligence cartridge, then you should buy the older TS-5050/5051/5052/5053 principle model.
The Canon Pixma TS5150 weakness is the lack of inherent network connectivity – there’s only a USB port. This isn’t a problem if you intend to use it with just one computer, but instead it creates a problem: although Windows computers and many network-connected storage devices allow you to share printers over the network, they don’t support MFP card readers or scanners.
